As an IT trainee, the experience I’ve gained here is truly unique. It combines hands-on exposure to the latest technologies with the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the future of a business.

One of the key factors that make my trainee experience exceptional is the chance to take on various roles and contribute to building successful products. From user requirement gathering to development, project management, and quality assurance, I’ve been involved in different aspects of product development. What’s more, these experiences span across different business units, each with its own distinct nature. For example, I’ve worked on reliable solutions for different channels in our Media Business unit, as well as explored the potential applications of trending technology breakthroughs like LLMs with our customers in Digital Solutions. This diverse exposure has broadened my understanding of different industries and enhanced my adaptability.

Another aspect that sets my trainee experience apart is the abundance of training and seminars available. These opportunities cover both technical knowledge and soft skills development. Through these programs, I’ve not only gained expertise in cutting-edge technologies and software development concepts, but I’ve also honed my abilities to face future challenges with confidence. The emphasis on continuous learning and growth has been instrumental in shaping my professional development.

Reflecting on my first working anniversary, a particular interaction stands out. Tony Ma, our CEO, reached out to me to discuss the past year and our expectations for the future. His words resonated deeply, reminding me of the importance of staying true to my roots and being dedicated to helping people through technology. This connection with experienced mentors has been invaluable in guiding my career journey and fostering a sense of purpose.
